Is it ok to be around measles when u are pregnant?

I am sure it is as….most people have had an MMR vaccination. If she has not had the MMR then it could pose a threat.
The better question is how did he daughter get measles..did she not get her shots.

i’d say no. even if she is vaccinated, vaccinations aren’t always effective for every person. especially if it’s rubella/german measels type, that can cause complications for her and her baby if she is exposed to it/catches it.

i dont think it is when the measles is at its ‘catching stage’.
i know my midwife told me not to go near my friends little boy who had it…

If she has concerns about if she is immunized against measles she can ask her Ob-Gyn to order for some blood titers.
