    It’s far from a cure, but a type of measle vaccine is being used in research in the hopes that it will help people with some of the more lethal types of cancer. Harnessing viruses to kill cancer is just one type of research . . it is far from complete and the benefits are far from clear . . but it is being researched and clinical trials to test theories have been conducted:

    This is exactly what cancer research is all about . . investigating new treatments, theories, testing them out . . though usually results in a laboratory do not translate well in human subjects . . still scientists, doctors, researchers (who may all be under the same umbrella) continue looking for that elusive ‘cure’.
