    You should check with your OB if you haven’t been vaccinated for measles since you’ve been exposed. Getting the measles can cause you to miscarry or prematurely deliver.

    Since you are in your 3rd trimester, you should be ok, but I would call your doctor and inform him/her that you have been exposed.

    I was exposed to chicken pox in my 2nd trimester (I’m a teacher) and also Pink Eye in my 1st trimester. Since the baby is developing moreso in the early stages of pregnancy–brain, organs etc, there is more of a risk. However, there really isn’t anything you can do unless you present with measels yourself. Make sure you let your doctor know if you haven’t done so already. That way if you do come down with it, they can get on it right away.

    Check with your OB. I know that I was given strict instructions to steer clear of anyone with this illness because I have not been vacinated for it.. If you however have had your vacine then you should have nothing to worry about. If not then I suggest staying away from her and after the baby is born get the vacine..
